Nigra Vase

Unique handbuild stoneware Nigra vase, 62 cm . 

This vase is made with black stoneware Nigra clay with heavy grog or chamotte and was baked at a temperature of 1240 °C. It was hand-built using coils on the pottery wheel. 

This vase is a beautiful decorative work of art that can be used inside or outside. 
It is not meant to be used as a vase, except for dry flowers. The vase is not glazed inside and thus not waterproof. 

Please note that this piece has to be collected at my home in Laeken. I prefer not to send it by postal courier. I can deliver it in the Brussels area.
