Discover the fascinating world of bees at a private castle near Brussels and explore their incredible role in our environment, all just ten minutes from Brussels.

As someone passionate about the environment, I’ve been a beekeeper since 2011, after completing one year of training in Leuven and two years in Brussels. Today, I manage several apiaries in Flanders and Brussels.

During this immersive initiation, I’ll guide you through the world of beekeeping. You’ll learn about the inner workings of a hive, how bees organize their lives throughout the season, and why solitary bees are so important.

To top it all off, we’ll enjoy a tasting of delicious honey from different European countries, offering a sweet and educational end to this unforgettable experience.

This workshop is available in French, Dutch, and English. The workshop can be organized on appointment during the good season.

Note: The activity is weather-dependent. If necessary, the appointment will be rescheduled, and you will be informed at least two days in advance. This activity is not recommended for individuals who are allergic to insect stings. Suits will be provided, but please come dressed in long pants and closed-toe shoes.
